Rates cover attendance and the first hour on site. Parts are extra, and the engineer quotes before fitting anything. Emergency jetting: £180 for the first hour.
- Included in the call-out charge: Travel within the area we cover, attendance, diagnosis and the first 60 minutes of work.
- After the first hour: Time is charged in 30-minute blocks at the extra-time rate for the same band.
- Which band applies: The band is set by the time the engineer arrives, and the whole visit is charged at that band.
- No emergency surcharge: An emergency costs the same as any other call-out in the same band. You pay for the time of day, not the word "emergency".
- Parts: Charged on top. Common parts are carried on every van, and the engineer confirms the price before fitting anything.
- Extra work: Nothing beyond the first hour goes ahead without your agreement.
- Return visit to fit ordered parts: No second call-out charge. Only the time on site is charged, at the extra-time rate.
- Cancellation: Free up to the point the engineer is dispatched.
If you can smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency Service first
Call 0800 111 999- Don't use light switches, electrical appliances or naked flames.
- Open doors and windows, and turn off the gas at the meter if you can.
- Leave the property and wait outside for the gas engineer.
We can't take a booking while there's a smell of gas. Once the supply has been made safe, we can repair the appliance or pipework.
