No. A service cleans and checks the boiler's working parts, while a gas safety check confirms each gas appliance is safe to use and produces the record landlords need. The two can be booked together in one visit.

Cleaning and adjustment are part of the service, but replacement parts and repairs are priced separately. The engineer explains what's needed and only goes ahead if you agree.

No. An emergency costs the same as any other call-out in the same time band. You pay for the time of day, not the word "emergency".

Travel within the area we cover, attendance, diagnosis and the first 60 minutes of work. After the first hour, time is charged in 30-minute blocks at the extra-time rate for the same band.
