How charges work

No surprises

Included in the call-out charge: Travel within the area we cover, attendance, diagnosis and the first 60 minutes of work.
After the first hour: Time is charged in 30-minute blocks at the extra-time rate for the same band.
Which band applies: The band is set by the time the engineer arrives, and the whole visit is charged at that band.
No emergency surcharge: An emergency costs the same as any other call-out in the same band. You pay for the time of day, not the word "emergency".
Parts: Charged on top. Common parts are carried on every van, and the engineer confirms the price before fitting anything.
Extra work: Nothing beyond the first hour goes ahead without your agreement.

Yes. Quoted work comes with a free written quote, so you can compare and decide in your own time.

Why isn't there a price on the website?

Jobs like boiler replacements and repiping depend on the property, the existing system and what you want, so they need to be seen before they can be priced fairly.

Can drains be repaired without digging?

Often. Patch lining seals cracks and displaced joints from inside the pipe, though a camera survey is needed first to check it's suitable.

Is there an emergency surcharge?

No. An emergency costs the same as any other call-out in the same time band. You pay for the time of day, not the word "emergency".
